Where to begin? I have about a million things swirling around my head, and have only a few minutes to write. So this is going to be a list-y post because I love a list and it is the best way to get a few of these things off my mind!
•We had our check-up with the pediatrician yesterday and everything is just perfect. This is such a welcome change from the same age with Hannah. Hannah had major weight issues and was jaundice that was borderline having to be treated, so not having any of those stresses is a welcome blessing.
•I am breast-feeding and again, so much better than where we were at with Hannah. This is where it is beneficial being the youngest- Mama actually knows what she is doing! Again such a huge blessing!!!
• I have a hard time "taking it easy" as per my discharge instructions. Even though I am tired, I have a hard time not doing things. It may sound silly but this is something that I have to make a conscious effort to do. My Mom and Mike are both here and are more than willing to do anything I ask, but I hate asking when it is something I can easily do myself.
• I am way behind on reading blogs and probably won't get a chance to catch up, if I manage to read, I am not commenting much. If you have an awesome post or great news to share leave me a comment so I can catch up with your awesomeness or great news. (also funny- I am a fan of funny!)
• I have thank-you notes that have been ready to go out for days, but haven't actually made it to the mail box. I am kind of embarrassed, even though I know that the recipients are not timing me and the timeliness of my response, but I have a thing about thank-you's and it is what it is.
• Hannah was a ball of energy today (more than usual) and she was hilarious! She wants me to pick her up, but I am still under lift restriction and I'm trying really hard not to have mommy guilt about this, but she just doesn't get why I won't pick her up.
• I have nine pounds to go before I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight, but I would like to lose an additional 10 after that. We'll see, as I am a fan of dessert, so yeah, we'll see. (also carbs, and cheese...mmm...cheese)
• I was planning on posting pictures, but am not going to spend the time to load them, perhaps another day.
• I am glad that Leah was sent home on Top Chef, she should have gone home a few weeks ago.
So yes, a very random post, but now my mind is a little less swirly. I hope you all are having a good week!
