It's that time again- time for another Recipe Box Swap! With the holidays right around the corner everyone is sharing their holiday favorites- and this time of year I am always looking for new things to try! This recipe is one of my absolute favorites- my family serves it for both Thanksgiving and Christmas. One year my Mom was going over the Thanksgiving menu and this yummy side was not on her list. I threw an absolute guilt inducing fit, and insisted that she make it. She agreed to make it but was afraid that I would be the only one really interested and would have a huge dish of leftovers. On Thanksgiving as everyone gobbled up this favorite, I commented that it almost didn't make the menu and everyone was shocked, I joke with my Mom that if I hadn't made such a fuss she would have had a Thanksgiving mutiny. So now I offer up super delicious (and easy!) Hot Hominy:
My absolute favorite holiday recipe is cranberry orange relish!
Ingredients:
1 bag Ocean Spray cranberrys
1 medium orange
Sugar to taste (about 3/4 cup)
In a food processor chop up cranbery's and the whole orange. Stir in sugar to taste. This is super easy and yummy! S

Wow -- this sounds really good. I don't think most of my family has had hominy before -- we'll have to try it. Thanks for sharing!
