It's time to Fight the Frump with Fussy! Remember how earlier in the week I got to meet Tim Gunn? While I don't have pictures to share (I forgot my camera- I took a few with my camera phone, but am still not sure how to download them to the computer, if I ever figure it out I will post!) I will post my favorite pieces from the fashion show, it was so much fun and I got some really great ideas that I will post in future frump fighting posts! (Oh I am totally going to milk this and use it as much as I can!) So I'll get to it and post some pics!

Ok, I think polos are a classic and so versatile! And Tim agrees! You can wear it alone or layer it under a t-shirt, sweater, cardigan, white button down, or jacket. Or wear it alone with jeans for a super easy pulled together look. It is so much more polished than some frumpy old t-shirt that you've had since college, I have several polos and they are truly work horses in my wardrobe.

Tunic tops! They are comfortable enough to wear everyday, but have the possibility of being dressed up! Pair with jeans for an easy look or slacks and heels for a more pulled together. Tunics are also incredibly flattering- if you've never tried one- you should!

The safari jacket! I loved this so much I bought it! They showed it several ways and I loved every one! I am almost always cold so I need a light jacket even in summer (not for outside, but for freezer-like air conditioned areas). This jacket is super fab because it has a belt, so it gives you shape! Pair with jeans for a pulled together casual look, or slacks to wear to work.

The shirt dress! I have a shirt dress, but have really only worn it one way- but thanks to Tim, I will now be sporting it in different ways. (getting more use out of it!) Shirt dresses are always in fashion and suitable for most body types- just be sure that you get one that fits! No popping buttons across your chest ladies!

This dress is gorgeous! The picture absolutely does not do it justice. The audience gasped when the model walked out, it was the fan favorite. This dress would be perfect for weddings! And with shower/ wedding season quickly approaching this dress would be great- it has the possibility of being dressed up or down.
So these were my favorites from the fashion show- I wish I had pictures of how they were styled so you could see how great these pieces looked and how versatile they all are! Thanks to Mrs. Fussypants for hosting-head over to see other great Frump Fighting tips or post one of your own!
Yeah you're back! *Wink-Wink*
I’m so jealous you got to go to a fashion show!

First off: Thank you SO much for the comments!
Second, All VERY cute wardrobe tips! And I (like everyone else...!) love that green dress! Awesome Frump-Fighting post!
Finally - With your phone, do you have text/pic messaging? If so, I know a VERY easy way for you to get some of your pictures off of it. Simply e-mail them to yourself! Just send it like a text or pic message, except to an e-mail address instead of a number. I started doing this when my old phone decided that it no longer liked my memory card... My Mom & I communicate this way through texts/e-mails when she's at work too. Hope this helps...!

I never really considered polos as a t-shirt alternative before -- but I like that idea! I need to go hunt for a few online! Thanks for sharing from your experience -- I can't wait to read more! :)
